National Talent Search Examination (NTSE)-2020

Eligibility for NTSE
Those who appear for 10th standard exam first time studying through open distance learning and under 18 years old can also apply for this. They should have scored a minimum 55 percentage of marks except languages in the 9th standard qualifying exam of 2019-20.
NTSE Scholarship
Nearly 2000 scholarships at different phases await the meritorious ones, it is Rs.1250/ per month while studying in plus one and plus two classes and Rs. 2000/ at degree and PG degree level. At the Ph.D level, it will be as per UGC criteria.
NTSE Pattern of Questions & Schedule 2020
The first phase State level exam will be on 13th December 2020. The duration will be of 120 minutes. Two objective type papers of hundred questions will be there. There is no negative marking. To qualify the test 40 percentage of marks is must and for SC category and physically handicapped, it is 32%. To test the mental ability, logical thinking, analytical ability of of the students, described and undescribed picture questions are included. To test the scholastic aptitude, questions from all chapters of Social Science, Mathematics and Science subjects of 9th standard and first and second term portion of 10th standard will be there for the first phase of exam.
How to apply for NTSE 2020
The application can be submitted online before 16th of November 2020 in the website scertkerala.gov.in. Rs. 250/ towards application fee should be paid online. Students of SC category need pay rupees hundred only.
