It is the duty of Deputy Chief Superintendents to promptly report any irregularities or violations of rules observed within the examination center directly to the Secretary. Immediate reporting via phone is required, followed by a detailed email report on the same day.

Deputy Chief Superintendents oversee the receipt of question papers, ensuring they are received in sufficient quantities and that the seals on the question paper packets are intact. Verification of seals is conducted daily during the examination period.

5. Safekeeping of Question Papers

They are responsible for securely storing the question papers in a designated safe equipped with a double-locker facility. Access to the safe requires the use of two keys, one of which is held by the Senior Deputy Chief Superintendent, ensuring enhanced security.

6. Seating Arrangements

Deputy Chief Superintendents verify that seating arrangements in examination halls comply with guidelines to maintain orderliness and fairness during examinations.

7. Monitoring Question Paper Lockers

They are present during the opening and closing of question paper lockers, validating their presence by signing relevant registers, thereby ensuring the integrity of the examination process.

8. Supervision during Examination

Deputy Chief Superintendents conduct regular visits to examination rooms to ensure invigilators are carrying out their duties in accordance with regulations and to prevent any instances of malpractice among candidates.

9. Assignment of Invigilator Duties

The Senior Deputy Chief Superintendent is responsible for assigning duties to all invigilators each day of the examination, ensuring adequate coverage and supervision throughout the testing period.
