School Manual by General Education Kerala

The Department of General Education has published a handbook, School manual(Draft) for an effective and qualitative execution of activities in an institution. It is essential as well as useful for the head of the institution in each section like High School, Higher Secondary and Vocational Higher Secondary etc. 

This hand book is based on the Kerala Education Rules, Kerala service Rules and Government orders. As the day today activities of an institution should be based on the latest government departmental directions or directives or amendments made, this handbook/school manual would become a ‘must' for the proper functioning of all the physical, human, academic and administrative components of the school. 

To organise the activities in each school satisfactorily as well as in an uniform manner, the school manual has a significant role. As this handbook clearly presents various school activities and matters like admission of the students, their attendance, duties and responsibilities, rights of children, school buildings, study matters, exam and other administrative matters, a positive coordination of academic matters is possible.
