National Aptitude Test in Architecture(NATA)

National Aptitude Test in Architecture, 2021(NATA-2021) for admission into B.Arch. Degree course for the academic session 2021-22 shall be conducted by the Council of Architecture (CoA) as one-day online examination all over the country. 

The purpose of conducting NATA is to provide a single scheme of examination for holding aptitude test and to facilitate prospective students all over the country to apply for admissions in architecture seats in institutions spread across the country and to avoid appearing in multiple aptitude tests. 

NATA measures the aptitude of the applicant for specific field of study, i.e. Architecture. The test makes an assessment of drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and critical thinking ability that have been acquired over a long period of time and are related to the specific field of study.

Schedule of Examination: 

NATA will be held twice a year. The first test will be held on 10.04.2021(Saturday) and the second test on 11.07.2021(Sunday).  Students can register for first test or second test or both. The last date for application(first test) is 28.03.2021. For second test , registration can be done till 30.05.2021

There is no negative marking, but wrong answering will be penalized in case of tie breaking.

Eligibility Criteria for Candidates:

Passed 10+2 examination with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and also 50% marks in aggregate at 10+2 level examination (Candidates appearing the 10+2 exam with Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in the current academic year may also provisionally appear in the NATA exam).

Application Procedure:

Application has to be filled up ONLINE at the NATA portal.

Application Fee Details:

A candidate applying for NATA– 2021 has to pay Rs.2000 as application fee, through ONLINE mode.For SC/ST students the application fee is 1500.

Result Format:

Qualifying marks for NATA-2021 would be based on the following rules:
1. At least 25% must be secured in Multiple Choice Questions(Part A) portion (32 out of 120)
2. At least 25% must be secured in Part B (18 out of 75)
3. Overall qualifying marks (out of 200) would be based on post-exam statistics and at the discretion of the Council.
Candidate will not qualify in NATA-2021 unless (s)he satisfies all three conditions mentioned above. NATA-2021 score shall be valid only for admission in the session 2021-22.

B.Sc Nursing Course in Military Medical Colleges-
Applications are invited for Military Nursing Service B.Sc Nursing course 2021 to become Commissioned officers in the Armed Forces from the female candidates. The admission is for 220 seats in the nursing colleges attached to the military hospitals in Pune, Calcutta, Mumbai, Delhi, Lucknow and Bangalore. Food, accommodation and uniform will be free cost along with a privilege of stipend. 

Who can apply? 

Applications from Unmarried/Widows and divorced with no liabilities will be considered. The candidates must have passed Plus two in the first chance itself with 50% of marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. Those who are studying in Plus two also can apply. Only regular candidates are eligible. Their date of birth should be between 1st October 1996 to 30th September 2004. Minimum height of 152 cm and health fitness as per military courses criteria is mandatory. 

How to Apply

Applicants should visit in to submit their applications before 10th March 2021. 

Entrance Test 

Admission test will be conducted in various centres all over India in April 2021. The candidates are required to choose the 3 examination centres in order of preference from the list of centres provided while filling the online application form.

The test is of 90 mts duration with no negative marks. There will be a total of 100 objective questions of which 50 from General English, 50 from General Intelligence and 50 questions from Biology, Physics and Chemistry together. The written test will be followed by interview for 100 marks in the month of June. 


Selection will be based on the evaluation of both the written test and interview. A clear medical check up also will be there. For more details, the candidates must visit the website.

Common Law Admission Test(CLAT) for Law Aspirants

Now it is time for the law aspirants to apply for Common Law Admission Test(CLAT) of 2021 to cherish their dream of getting themselves enrolled in one of the 21 premium national universities including the National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS) at Kochi.

CLAT 2021 Schedule & Application Fee

The application process for admission test is scheduled to commence from 1st of January 2021 and the process will close on 15th of June 2021. The offline Common Law Admission Test will be a 2 hour duration test. The applicants can download their admit card from April.

They have to remit Rs.4000/ towards application fee. SC&ST candidates and of BPL category need pay only Rs.3500/- Different centres in Kerala would be the venue of the exam.

CLAT 2021 Eligibility

Students with minimum 45% of marks in the Plus Two board examination or those to appear for board exam in March or April 2021 are eligible to apply. 40% of marks is the basic qualification for SC & ST category students. Age and optional subjects are never a hamper for applying for this graduation programme in Law. 

CLAT 2021 Syllabus & Question Pattern

The test comprises 5 sections aiming to test the mental, numerical ability and aptitude in becoming law graduates. Of the total 150 marks, 25% marks each to measure the current affairs and legal reasoning, 20% marks each to English language and legal reasoning and 10% marks for testing quantitative techniques.

NIFT Admission and Entrance Exam

National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) a topmost institute in the country, giving scientific training in Fashion designing field, invites applications for various courses:-

Bachelor of Design (Fashion/leather/Textile/Knit wear/Accessory design: Fashion Communication)

Course duration is 4 years. Plus two or minimum 3 year Diploma course recognized by AICTE is the eligibility for doing this course.

Bachelor of Fashion Technology in Apparel Production ( B.F.Tech)

NIFT Entrance Exam 2021

The entrance test for all programmes will be held on 14th of February 2021 in 32 centres including Kochi, Kannoor, Coimbatore etc. The Bachelors’ Degree programmes will have situation tests only whereas group discussions and interviews will be conducted for PG programmes. Delhi University (DU) is the university comprising a few well reputed colleges in the nation. It does not have a separate campus. Delhi University(DU) is entirely different from the usual concept of universities in Kerala. There are 90 colleges from various parts of Delhi and related departments. The admission to all such courses in Delhi University will be based on merit cum entrance exam. 

Admission Procedure & Cut off Mark

Admission for more than 10 degree courses are done by entrance and for the remaining courses, the admission will be done on merit base by plus two score cutoff which will be dependent upon the number of seats and it may vary each year. The cutoff score of this year can be expected in the first week of August. The cutoff score of each course in each college will be different. Still the first cutoff may be above 90%. All PG courses will have entrance exam.

Humanities and Social Science Admission in IIT Madras(HSEE)

Indian institute of Technology, Madras, one of the premier institutes in education and research with placement opportunities is to begin its admission procedure for its 5 year integrated programme, Master of Arts in Development Studies and Master of Arts in English Studies from December 2019. The course aspirants should appear for the Humanities and Social Sciences Entrance Examination (HSEE ) to be held on 19th of April 2020.


The students who have passed their Plus two or equivalent course and those who are to appear for their final exam can apply for the entrance exam. But they should get 60% of aggregate marks in the qualifying exam. Candidates born on or after 01/10/1995 only need apply whereas 55% of marks is sufficient for SC, ST and PwD candidates along with 5 years age relaxation.

How to Apply

Submission of online application and fee payment can be done from 11th of December 2019 to 22nd of January 2020. The last date for fee payment by Indian bank Challan mode is 23rd of January 2020. Checking of application status starts from 17th of February. The applicants can download their admit card from 18th of March 2020.

Exam Pattern & Syllabus for HSEE 2020

The exam is of two parts. Part I consists of English, Analytical and Quantitative Ability and General Studies. 25% questions would be in English to test the reading / comprehension skills, knowledge of grammar and vocabulary. Other 25% of questions would be from areas like Number, Algebra, time, Basic Statistics, sums, equations, profit & loss, data interpretation and Analytical reasoning. The major part of the questions ie 50% is from General studies like Indian economy, natural & human resources, economic problems, growth & development, foreign & international trade, world affairs , agriculture and technological changes etc. Details available in the below links.

Examination Schedule

Humanities and Social Sciences Entrance Exam (HSEE ) is scheduled to be conducted on Sunday 19th of April, 2020. The exam will be conducted in the major cities in India including Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram. The expected date of results publication is May 15, 2020. The selected candidates can download their offer letter from the institution from the next day of its result publication.

JEE Main 2020

Applications are invited for the first Joint Entrance Examination(JEE), conducted by National Testing Agency ( NTA ) till 30th September 2019. The Computer Based test will be conducted from January 6 to 11th 2020.The admission for. B E, ​B.Tech​, B.Arch and B.Planning in National Institutes of Technology (NIIT) Indian Institutes of Information and Technology(IIT ) and other Institutes of Technology under the Govt of India is based on the JEE score. JEE exam is conducted twice a year. The second one will be conducted from 3rd to 9th of April 2020. The registration for the same will be from 7th February to 7th March 2020.

Exam & Question Pattern JEE Main 2020

Certain changes have been made in the JEE paper question pattern 2020. There would be three papers for exam. It is for admission to B. E / B. Tech, B.Arch, B planning. As per one's admission planning one can appear for one or more papers.

There would be 25 questions each in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry subjects of B.E and B.Tech question paper. Of these 25 questions, 20 would be of objective type and 5 of Numerical answer type question.

The Computer Based exam will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will be from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and the second shift from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30p.m. The rank is applicable for admission to science courses.

There would be three sections for B.Arch paper. The first section will have 25 questions from Mathematics (20 - Multiple choice and 5 Numerical answer type ) The second session will have 50 multiple choice questions to test the aptitude in architecture. Both the sections are computer-based. The third section is that of drawing parts ( two questions). The students should make their drawings in the drawing sheet which will be provided in the exam hall. It is an offline test. But all the sections should be completed in one sitting itself.

For B.Planning also, there are three sections.The first two parts are of B.Arch admission test (Mathematics, Aptitude test). The third part is that of Planning based. The Computer Based test has 25 multiple choice questions. The duration is of 3 hours from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The exam for B.Arch and B.Planning applicants is from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m, the afternoon shift and they have to answer four sections - Mathematics, Aptitude test, drawing test and Planning based questions.

Scoring Method of JEE 2020

The right answer of each multiple choice question and numerical answer type would be given four marks. There will be one negative mark for each wrong answer of multiple choice questions and no negative mark for numerical answer type.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for admission: B.E/ BTech admission aspirants must have studied Physics and Mathematics. Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology or technical vocational subjects can be their third subject. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are mandatory for B.Arch admission and mathematics for B.planning.

JEE 2020 Cut off score

There is no upper age limit to apply. 2018-2019 passed out students and those who are to appear in 2020 and studied 5 subjects are eligible to apply. The admission will be based on the rank list of the entrance exam. The applicants should have scored 75 percentage of total marks (65 percentage for ST) or 20 percentile cutoff score of the toppers in the qualifying exam.

JEE Main 2020(Second Phase)

The second exam of JEE Main 2020 will be held in the month of April. Applications can be submitted from February 7th 2020. One can appear for any one of the exams or both. In the case of the students appearing for both the exams, the better of the two scores that they obtain will be considered for admission.

JEE Advanced

Those who wish to get through JEE Advanced and get admission to courses including science courses like B tech, B. Arch in IIT should appear for JEE Main paper 1. Certain number of toppers of various categories based on the score only, can appear for 'Advanced'.

Applications can be submitted only through online. Those willing to attend the interview should qualify the main exam too. The JEE main rank will be considered for admission in IISER, IISC, IIST and scholarships for Higher Education.

JEE 2020 Exam centres

The complete list of exam centres in our country and abroad is available in the bulletin. Exam centres in Kerala - Alappuzha/ Chengannur, Ernakulam/ Angamaly/ Moovattupuzha, Kannur, Kasargode, Kollam, Kottayam, Malappuram, Trivandrum and Thrissur. Four centres can be chosen on priority basis.

The fee can be paid by net banking, UPI, PAY TM service. The print out of the confirmation page can be kept for further use and the print out need not be sent. One can appear for any one or both the exams conducted in January or April. The better of the two scores would be considered for the final rank list preparation.
