NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is an entrance exam conducted for the Higher Secondary students who aspire to hold a medical career. National Testing Agency(NTA) conducts the exam and publish the rank list.

Eligibility for NEET 2026
Plus Two(10+2) passed out students or the students who are to appear in the exam of the present year(2026) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-Technology and English as subjects of study in the group chosen by them. The percentage of marks for the Physics, Chemistry, Biology(PCB) group students who belong to General Category should be 50%, for the physically disabled 45% and for the SC/ST/OBC category, it is 40%. The State rank list will be prepared from the National rank list by choosing the deserving candidates for admission in Kerala. Admission in Kerala will be based on this. The candidates appearing for NEET 2026 should also submit online application to the Commissioner of Kerala Entrance Exam like those applying for Kerala Engineering Entrance.NEET 2026 Syllabus and Pattern of Question
The Entrance Test shall consist of 180 multiple choice questions (four options with a single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany & Zoology). 45 questions in each subject. The duration of the Examination will be 180 minutes (03 hours)
