The General Education Department has initiated a new project titled "Enhancement of Academic Programmes(EAP) in Higher Secondary Schools in Kerala." The primary objective of this project is to enhance the quality of education in Govt/Aided/Unaided Higher secondary schools through systematic academic monitoring. To facilitate this, the government has established committees at both the State and District levels.
At the state level, a committee has been formed to visit selected schools in Kerala, while at the district level, a committee will strive to visit all schools within their respective districts. The Department has already issued specific forms (performa) to schools, outlining the required details related to academic development and programs conducted within the school.
It is the responsibility of school Principals to complete the performa and submit it to the visiting committee when they arrive at the school. The government has published orders, guidelines, and forms to provide detailed instructions for the successful implementation of this initiative.
