Plus One Additional Batch 2023
The distribution of additional batches and seat increments in each district are as follows:
- Palakkad: Four (4) batches, resulting in 240 extra seats.
- Kozhikode: Eleven (11) batches, providing 660 more seats.
- Malappuram: Fifty-three (53) batches, offering an impressive 3,180 additional seats.
- Wayanad: Four (4) batches, creating 240 more seats.
- Kannur: Ten (10) batches, adding 600 seats.
- Kasaragod: Fifteen (15) batches, resulting in a remarkable 9,000 extra seats.
With this latest development, a total of 5,820 additional seats have been sanctioned through the 97 newly allotted batches. Among these, 57 batches have been assigned to government schools, while 40 batches will go to aided schools.
This distribution will open up 3,420 seats in government schools and 2,400 seats in aided schools, providing more opportunities to aspiring students.
This move is expected to ease the admission process and cater to the growing demand for higher education in the region. Students and parents can now look forward to enhanced prospects for pursuing higher studies in their preferred districts, thanks to these supplementary batches.
