Eligibility
Students who have enrolled in an undergraduate course of basic sciences in 2022-23 can apply after completing their Higher Secondary Board Examination. The scholarship recipients will be awarded funding for a total of five years, which includes three years of undergraduate study and two years of post-graduate studies.
This program seeks to inspire and encourage young students to pursue further studies and build a career in scientific fields.
Applicants should have secured minimum 90% marks [80% for SC/ST] or equivalent grade in Higher Secondary Examination (both in Overall and Science Subjects total) and secured admission for 3-year U.G/5-year Integrated P.G. programme in Basic/Natural Sciences in the current academic year(2022-23)

Scholarship Amount
Students selected for the award of Prathibha Scholarship shall be provided scholarship for the 3 years of Undergraduate and 2 years of Post-graduate programme as follows, subject to the renewal norms of the Scheme.
Undergraduate Course:
Year-I: Rs 12,000/-,
Year-II: Rs 18,000/-,
Year III: Rs 24,000/-

Post-graduate Course:
Year-I: M.Sc/ 4th Year Integrated M.Sc. - Rs 40,000/-
Year-II: M.Sc./ 5th Year Integrated M.Sc. - Rs 60,000/-
