Voluntary Retirement Scheme(VRS)-Guidelines, Application

A govt employee can get voluntary retirement when his application for the same is not rejected in three months. In most of the cases, when the employee continues his service though not given sanction and his application not rejected, his pension and other emoluments should be paid with interest. To avoid such situations, certain and guidelines regarding verifying application for father proceeding are issued. 

Time bound response on rejection of an application must be given to the employees under judicial custody or disciplinary action of the Department or under vigilance enquiry and for employees with liabilities to govt. Also, Voluntary Retirement Scheme (VRS) can't be allowed at any cost without service verification report from the Accountant General.
