Eligibility
Only BPL category students can apply. The percentage of disability of either of the parents be 40% percentage of more. Those who have already already availed of such benefits can't apply. The students pursuing courses in government recognized institutions can be the beneficiaries of this scheme.
How to apply?
Online Application in the prescribed format along with the copy of BPL ration card/income certificate from the village officer, medical board certificate showing percentage of disability, attested copy of disability id card should be sent to the District Social Justice officers concerned.
Scholarship
The amount of scholarship will be Rs.300 for 1 to 5th standard students, Rs.500 for 6th to 10th standard students, Rs.750 for plus one, plus two, ITI and other equivalent courses and Rs.1000 for degree, PG, polytechnic and equivalent training courses and professional courses.
From each district, 25 students from each category can get this privilege for 10 months under this scheme.
