Polytechnic admission 2026:Eligibility
The application should be submitted online. Application fee also be paid online. SSLC/THSLC/CBSE(10th) and other equivalent exam passed out students are eligible to apply.
Polytechnic admission 2026: Seats Reservation
This online admission is for all the seats in the government and IHRD polytechnic colleges, 85% of seats in aided polytechnic colleges and 50 % of government seats in self financing colleges whereas it is 10% and 2% respectively for those who have passed SSLC and VHSE.
The VHSE passed out students can choose their branch of study according to the trade they have completed in their qualifying exam. 5% of seats are reserved for the disabled (travel disability, vision & sight disability)
SC &ST, SC, OEC & SEBC applicants would get reservation as per the directions of the government. 10% of reservation is for those who belong to forward community but economically backward.
Polytechnic Admission 2026: Application fee
Application fee for the general category of students is Rs.200/ and it is Rs.100/ for SC and ST category.
Polytechnic Admission 2026: Management Quota
The students applying for management seats in self financing polytechnic colleges and government aided colleges should apply and pay fee online and the application be given in person too in the polytechnic colleges concerned.
