Common Law Admission Test(CLAT) for Law Aspirants

The application process for CLAT 2019 admission test is scheduled to commence from 13th of January 2019 and the process will close on 15th of April 2019.

Now it is time for the law aspirants to apply for Common Law Admission Test(CLAT) of 2019 to cherish their dream of getting themselves enrolled in one of the 21 premium national universities including the National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS) at Kochi.

CLAT 2019 Schedule & Application Fee

The application process for admission test is scheduled to commence from 13th of January 2019 and the process will close on 15th of April 2019. The offline Common Law Admission Test CLAT 2019 will be conducted on 26th May 2019. It will be a 2 hour duration test, from 3p.m to 5 p.m. The applicants can download their admit card from April.

They have to remit Rs.4000/ towards application fee. SC&ST candidates and of BPL category need pay only Rs.3500/- Different centres in Kerala would be the venue of the exam.

CLAT 2019 Eligibility

Students with minimum 45% of marks in the Plus Two board examination or those to appear for board exam in March or April 2019 are eligible to apply. 40% of marks is the basic qualification for SC & ST category students. Age and optional subjects are never a hamper for applying for this graduation programme in Law. 

CLAT 2019 Syllabus & Question Pattern

The test comprises 5 sections aiming to test the mental, numerical ability and aptitude in becoming law graduates. Of the total 200 marks, 50 marks each to measure the legal aptitude and General Knowledge, 40 marks to elicit their prowess in English grammar and communication skill, 20 marks for Basic mathematics and numeric ability and 40 marks for testing logical reasoning.
