IIT Workshop On ‘Student Solar Ambassadors’ for Plus Two Students
The Department of Energy Science and Engineering, IIT Bombay invites applications from the Higher Secondary students studying in the second year for a one day workshop on ‘Students Solar Ambassadors’ on 2nd October 2018 as part of its Diamond Jubilee celebrations.
The workshop is aimed at creating awareness among the students on solar energy, one of the renewable resources of energy which is sustainable and inexhaustible unlike fossil fuels. The selected participants will be given training on making solar lamp and the same would be supplied to them. Of the total 1,00,000 participating students, 50 students will be selected from our state.
Eligibility
The selection criteria is that they should have obtained the maximum score(100%) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in plus one examination conducted in March 2018.
How to Apply
The principals concerned should forward the applications of such students of their institution in the prescribed format on or before 11th September 2018 to
