Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) 2023

Applications are invited for the first Joint Entrance Examination(JEE) 2023, conducted by National Testing Agency(NTA).
 
The admission for. B E, ​B.Tech​, B.Arch and B.Planning in National Institutes of Technology (NIIT) Indian Institutes of Information and Technology(IIT) and other Institutes of Technology under the Govt of India is based on the JEE score. JEE exam is conducted twice a year. 
 
The first session will be conducted on January 2023. The second one(Session 2) will be conducted from April 2023. The registration for the second session will be from 15th February 2023 to 12th March 2023. 

Exam, Syllabus & Question Pattern JEE Main 2023

There would be three papers for exam. It is for admission to B. E/B. Tech, B.Arch, B planning. As per one's admission planning one can appear for one or more papers.

The Computer Based exam will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will be from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and the second shift from 3 p.m. to 6p.m. The rank is applicable for admission to science courses.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for admission: B.E/ BTech admission aspirants must have studied Physics and Mathematics. Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology or technical vocational subjects can be their third subject. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are mandatory for B.Arch admission and mathematics for B.planning.

JEE Main 2023(Second Phase)

The second exam of JEE Main 2023 will be held in the month of April. One can appear for any one of the exams or both. In the case of the students appearing for both the exams, the better of the two scores that they obtain will be considered for admission.

JEE Advanced

Those who wish to get through JEE Advanced and get admission to courses including science courses like B tech, B. Arch in IIT should appear for JEE Main paper 1. Certain number of toppers of various categories based on the score only, can appear for 'Advanced'.

Applications can be submitted only through online. Those willing to attend the interview should qualify the main exam too. The JEE main rank will be considered for admission in IISER, IISC, IIST and scholarships for Higher Education.
