Last updated on 08.03.2016: The Tenth pay revision committee recommended for new pay scales for government employees and teachers, with the lowest scale increased from Rs 8,500-13,210 to Rs 17,000 -35,700 and the highest scale from Rs 48,640-59,840 to Rs 97,000- 1,20,000.

But the fourth entry(post held as on 1/7/2014 ) takes two lines in the print file in my system and is not in a readable format.Another point I would like to make is that, towards the end of the fixation statement,the designation of the head of the institution is given ,not that of the employee.Does it mean that no declaration is needed from the employee?-

    If you got promotion on 1/7/2014,then your post as on 1/7/14 is the promoted post. If you got promotion after 1/7/14 then you have to enter date of promotion, fixation rule, existing scale and revised scale in promotion section under Add employee/Edit employee button

    In cases, where a senior employee promoted to a higher post before 01/07/2014
    (other than Time Bound Higher Grade), draws less pay in the revised scale than his
    junior promoted to the same higher post after 01/07/2014, the pay of the senior
    employee shall be stepped up to the level of the pay of the junior with effect from the
    date on which junior draws more pay, provided that

    (a) The senior and the junior employee should belong to the same category and
    should have been promoted to the same category of post.
    (b) The pre-revised and revised scale of pay of the lower and higher posts
    should be identical.
    (c) The senior employee at the time of promotion has been drawing equal or
    more pay than the junior.
    (d) The anomaly should have arisen directly as a result of the introduction of
    the revised scale of pay and fixation rules.

    (e) The anomaly should not have arisen due to any advance increment granted
    to the junior in the lower post or due to the increased service weightage gained by the junior.

    No need for calculation. All apointment made after 01/7/14 will be in the revisedscale. Fix to the minimum of the revised scale as on joining date.

    Both gets Rs.41500/- on 17/7/14
    The first one get next increment on 1/10/14 but the second one gets next increment after 8 months ie 1/7/15.

    No difference.

I have joined on 5/9/2009. 1/7/2014 my basic pay is 22360. my basic pay after fixation is 43600. and 1/08/2014 it is 44700. up to this correct. but 1/01/2015 it is 45800. please clarify the date is 01/08/2015 or not .

    One thing I would like to point out. In the fixation statement against col. 15 future increments up to the year 2017 are shown which in my view should not have been included because those increments have not been authorised as they are prospective. Events may occur which deny increments on those dates and hence entering values may have the effect of sanctioning increments prospectively. Better to avoid such entries in the fixation statement.

  76. Fixation statement is in excellent lay out, no spelling mistakes and hence deserves real appreciation.
    The only very small negative I noted is that in certain cases especially the designations, name of office etc, sometimes the capital letters automatically change in to small letters while generation of reports unless you give full stops in between the abbreviated letters.

    15 yr grade falls on 1/7/2014.
    pay as on 1/6/2014- 20740;after fixation THROUGH THIS SOFTWARE the pay is raised to 44 700 AS ON 1/7/2014;BUT THE PAY SUGGESTED IN THE SPARK PAGE is 45800 as on 1/7/2014.pls comment.urgent.

Apprecited but a small pit fall.If the increment is withheld due to delay in declaration of probation,it can be availed on the declaration of probation and there will not be any change subsequent increments.This is missing so please correct it.This time no option facility so no loss or profit unless u compare with others.

  86. please attend to the comment No.109. It will be more convenient if you include FIXATION RULE "OTHER" as in the first promotion, to the second promotion also. There are four types for fixation rules for first promotion but their are only three for the second promotion.

    An Employee promoted in January 2014 and opted 28b. He got one notional increment in January and two increment in normal increment month October 2014.If fixing his salary as on 1/7/14, how many increment will he get in Opted month October 2014 in revised scale as he got only one increment in per-revised scale in January.
