The Kite Victors Channel online classes for the first year Higher Secondary students conducted for the past one year has been completed. Due to the prevailing Covid 19 pandemic situation, the way of learning and exam pattern have also undergone certain changes. Due to the absence of proper regular classes in this situation, it would be a tough thing for the Plus one students to go through the text completely for their exam preparation.

Applications are invited for Prof.Joseph Mundasserry Scholarship Award from the students belonging to BPL group, studied in Kerala govt or aided institutions and who have scored A+ grade in all subjects in the SSLC/THSLC/Higher Secondary/VHSE exam of the academic year 2020-21. Only the natives of Kerala, belonging to any of the minority religions like Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddah, Parsis, Jain etc are eligible to apply. In the absence of the sufficient BPL applicants, the students whose annual family income does not exceed Rs.8 lakh, will also be considered. It is granted in the ratio of 80:20 for Muslims and other minority groups respectively.

How to apply ?

1.Visit the site http://dcescholarship.kerala.gov.in/dmw/dmw_ma/dmw_ind.php and click the link scholarships – Prof. Joseph Mundasserry (PJMS)
2.Click Apply online
3.Candidates already registered for other scholarships can have ‘Candidate login’ with those details.
4.After applying online, click view/print Application to take the print out of it.
5.The print out of the registration form should be submitted to the head of the institution of the student along with the documents given in the next section.

What documents do I need to submit with application ?

1. Applicant’s registration print out with photo pasted on it.
2. Copy of mark list of SSLC / PlusTwo/ VHSE.
3. Copy of the 1st page of pass book in the name of applicant ( should have Name, Account No, IFSC Code, Address etc)
4. Copy of Aadhar card or NPR card.
5. Copy of Ration card.
6. Copy of Nativity certificate.
7. Copy of Community certificate or Minority certificate.
8. Income certificate (original) from village office.

To the attention of Heads of Institution

1. The submitted documents of the applicant be verified online by the head of the Institution / Teacher in charge of it.
2. A+ grade in all subjects be confirmed.
3. Approval of applications by the head of the institution after scrutiny
4. Income certificate should be attached with the application
5. All documents should be verified.
6. More attention should be paid in verifying the bank account details
7. Head of the institution should have verified all applications and accepted it before the due date

How to Check Higher Secondary Single Window Plus one First Allotment Result 2021 ?

First allotment results of Higher Secondary Plus one Single Window admission 2021(Sports & Merit) published. Admissions will be in specified Time Slots on 23/09/2021, 25/09/2021, 29/09/2021 and 01/10/2021.

What is the Plus One First Allotment ? 

This is the first rank list published, based on the options given by the applicants, while submitting single window application for admission to the first year Higher Secondary course. The date and time slot for admission for students is given in the allotment letter itself. Those who can’t be present in the allotted time, should get prior permission from the principal of the school of their admission and must take admission before 5 pm of 1st of October 2021.
 
The students not taking admission even after getting allotment, will not be considered in the further allotment process.

How to Check the Plus One First allotment results 2021 ? 

The students who have submitted their application in the Single Window System for admission to Plus one Course should do Candidate login-SWS in the Hscap portal.
 
Step 1: Visit HSCAP Portal https://www.hscap.kerala.gov.in
Step 2: Click on the link Candidate Login-SWS
Step 3: Fill User name, Password, District and then click on Login. 
Step 4: Check Allotment status & Allotment letter
Step 5: Click on the link First Allot Results 
Step 6: Click on the link Print Allotment Slip

What is the Temporary and Permanent Admission ? 

The students who have been allotted their first option itself should remit the fee and take permanent admission. Others can have temporary admission so that they can wait for the next allotment to know their possible higher option. Also, such students can cancel their higher options of their choice and confirm their Permanent admission in the presently allotted school. 

The students taking temporary admission can cancel selected higher options if they are willing to do so. Moreover, the temporary admission students need not remit fee

How to remit fee for Plus one Permanent Admission ? 

The details of fee to be remitted are in the allotment letter itself. If online payment is not possible for the candidates, such candidates can pay the amount in person at the time of taking admission in the school allotted to them(wait for updates). 

The documents needed for taking Plus one admission ? 

The allotment letter of 2 pages available in the candidate log in page (if there is no provision for the print out, the same can be availed of from the school of admission), qualification certificate, Transfer Certificate, Conduct Certificate, the relevant certificates for those with bonus or tie-breaking points. Original certificates of all these must be provided. Click the link for more.

The certificates of temporary admission candidates also will be maintained in the school of admission of their first allotment. 

What should the candidates who haven’t got their first allotment do ? 

There are two allotments in the first phase of Higher Secondary Single Window Admission procedure 2021. Hence, the students who have not been allotted any school of their choice, can wait for the second allotment. For latest updates , visit the admission portal HSCAP(https://www.hscap.kerala.gov.in).

Plus One Single Window-Certificates to be Produced at the time of Admission

At the time of Single Window admission to the Plus one classes, certain certificates should be produced in original by the students. 

Eligibility Certificate, TC and Conduct Certificate

Original copies of 10th eligibility certificate, TC, Conduct certificates are mandatory. If tie breaking or bonus points are applicable, copy of those certificates should be produced. 

Age Relaxation

Those who claim age relaxation, the original copies of order as given in the prospectus should be submitted. The applicants should have completed 15 years of age as on June 2021 but not beyond 20 years. Minimum age is not applicable to the students of Kerala State Board Examination. For age relaxation, up to 6 months can be claimed by producing a certificate from the Regional Deputy Director of Higher Secondary Education. Others can avail of 6 months of age relaxation before and after the said period. A certificate of age relaxation by Department of General Education be presented for climbing this.To claim age relaxation apart from this above said criteria, the applicants should get your certificate from the Secretary of Department of General education. 

IED Students

For Admission under IED section, a certificate from the organised medical board proving not less than 40 percentage of disability be submitted. 

Income Certificate & Caste Certificate

If the caste details given are not same as that of in SSLC certificate, caste certificate be presented. SC/ST/OEC students should get income certificate and caste certificate from the Revenue officer. 

Linguistic Minority 

The students coming under minority language quota, can claim the same if it is provided in their SSLC certificate or a certificate with letter head as per their membership register, by the secretary or chairman of the Minority Languages Association. 

Bonus Point for Taluk & Panchayath

For availing of bonus points for same Taluk and and Local Self Govt Dept, SSLC certificate bearing those info will do. If not, a ration card or nativity certificate be produced.

NCC/Scout Certificate

For NCC candidates, the certificate for 75 percentage of attendance by the Directorate be presented. The bonus points for Scouts and Guides will be for Puraskar recipients only. SPC cadets should present the certificate by the SPC project Kerala 

Jawan Priority

The dependents of Jawan of Army/Navy and Fire Force, the service certificate of the Jawan be produced. In the case of ex-servicemen, the certificate should be received from the Sainik Welfare Board. 

Swimming Certificate

For getting ‘2’ bonus points for swimming, a certificate from the District Sports Council concerned, the certificate of Excellence for participation in competitions conducted by the Agencies recognized by the Kerala State Sports Council.

Tie-breaking Categories

For tie - breaking categories except NTSE should have been participated by the students during their 10th standard. For NTSE point, eligibility certificates from SCERT or NCERT at the time of studying 8 or 10 standard is essential. 

Student Police Cadet, Little Kites, EWS and  Extra Curricular Activities

DigiLocker: How to register and download SSLC and Plus Two Certificates

General Education Department of Kerala state in collaboration with Kerala State IT mission, e-mission and National e-governance division has opened a facility, known as digilocker. It enables to keep all required documents safely as e-document.

SSLC certificates, CBSE/State class X and XII certificates etc are now available at digilocker. Such certificates can be used as an authentic record. 
 
Board of Public Examinations, Directorate of General Education, Government of Kerala has made available SSLC Certificate cum Marklist of MARCH 2021, which can be pulled by students into their Digilocker account.

How to register in DigiLocker ?

Step 1:If you have not yet registered with Digilocker, visit https://digilocker.gov.in and click sign up
Step 2:  To register, enter your Name & Date of birth(as given in Aadhar), Gender, Mobile Number, 6 digit security pin, email id and Aadhar number.
Step 3: One time Password will be send to your mobile.
Step 4: After entering the one-time password (OTP) received on the mobile number, you need to create a username for further use.
Step 5: You must sign in to DigiLocker using the newly created username and 6 digit security PIN

How to download SSLC Certificate?

To make the SSLC certificate available in digilocker, log in and click the menu 'Browse Documents'
Click the View All link in State Government Section
Select Kerala



Select ‘Kerala State Board of Public Exam’ from ’Kerala’ section. 

Then select 'Class X school leaving certificate
Enter the SSLC Register number, year and Aadhar Number. Then click Get Document

To make the Plus Two/VHSE certificate available in digilocker, log in and click the menu 'Browse Documents' and then the State Government-View All-Kerala

How to fill up Higher secondary Answer Paper? What are the things to look for when writing an exam?

The public examination of the Plus one students of the academic year 2020-21 is to be held in the next month. It it important that the necessary details should be filled before start writing the exam in the facing sheet of the answer booklet for the Higher Secondary Public examination. Hence, the students should have a good knowledge of how to fill it. 
 
The students should write the Name of the exam, subject, date, Register number and code number of the question paper etc. in the facing sheet. It should be copied as it is, from the hall ticket. While writing the register number in words, it can be done either in English or Malayalam without any mistake. The subject name and code should be entered as given in the question paper. 
 

How to Fill Main Sheet

The main sheet is of 8 pages including the two printed pages- the facing sheet and instruction page. The rest of the 6 pages can be used for writing answers. Apart from the register number on the facing sheet, no details bearing the identity of the student should be entered anywhere in the answer sheet. The specimen copy of answer sheet is attached here to understand easily how to fill the details. See the copy and read the details below to find out the box and what should be entered there.

1. Name of the Examination: Write here - First Year Higher Secondary Examination September 2021
2. Subject: write the name of the subject of exam on that day from hall ticket or question paper. 
3. Date: Date of examination 
4. Paper: Need not fill it  
5. Total Additional Sheets used: Here total number of additional sheet used be written. (Each additional sheet contains 4 pages. Here don’t write the number of pages, but sheets) 
6. Score: Don’t write anything here. The total score after evaluation of the answer script is entered here by the teacher. 
7. Register number in figures: The register number as it is in the hall ticket should be copied here. It should be written either in English or Malayalam in the ‘Words column’. 
8. Code number of question paper: There is a code for each subject question paper. It can be seen on the question paper and the same code should be written here. 
9. Dated sign of the Invigilator: The teacher who is the invigilator in the exam hall should sign here. 

 

How to fill Additional Sheet: 

Once the pages in the main answer sheet are over, additional sheets will be issued. Each additional will have four pages. Each sheet (not pages) should be numbered sequentially as 1,2, 3,...etc. 
 
Higher secondary Answer Sheet

The students can get any number of additional sheets as per their requirement as there is no limit for it. The name or register number of the student should not be written on the additional sheet. The total no of additional sheets used should be written in the box provided for this purpose in the top right side of the facing sheet. The students should remember to check that the facing sheet and additional sheets are signed with date by the invigilator.

General Instructions: 

The marginal lines are there in the main sheet and the additional sheets. So the students need not draw margins again.
Question numbers and sub question numbers, as in the question paper should be written in the left side inside margin.
The students should ensure whether the main sheet and the additional sheets bear the monogram (special seal) and the dated signature of the invigilator.
The blank pages should be cross lined and the students must write ‘CANCELLED’ after their last answer in the last page, after completing their exam.
The main sheet and the additional sheet should be kept in the order and tagged properly. Even though, no additional sheets are used, the main sheet should be tagged well.
Don’t forget to write the total number of additional sheets used on the top right side box. If no sheets are used, ‘NIL’ should be written. 
Apart from the non programmable calculators, no other electronic gadgets should be used in the exam hall. Standard Clarks table only is allowed to be used for doing calculations in the exam.

KEAM 2021:  Steps to upload Plus Two marks
The students who have appeared in the Kerala State Engineering Entrance Exam(KEAM 2021), should upload their qualifying exam marks for the KEAM rank list preparation for admission to govt engg. Colleges. Or else, they will not be considered in the rank list preparation.The KEAM exam paper I and paper II appeared students will be able to upload their qualifying exam score. 
 

KEAM 2021: How to upload  Plus two Mark

The marks should be entered for submission through the website of the Entrance Commission, www.cee.kerala.gov.in. 
 
At first, the candidate must login into the Candidate Portal for KEAM 2021 with his application number and password.

Then, by clicking the link - ‘Mark Submission for Engineering’, he can upload the marks. 
 
After successfully submitting the score,  the print out of ‘Mark Submission Confirmation Report’ should be taken and kept in the safe custody of the students. 
For future reference, take the printout of ‘Mark Submission Confirmation Report’. DO NOT SEND the ‘Mark Submission Confirmation Report’ to the CEE Office. DO NOT SEND the ‘Plus Two Mark Sheet’ to the CEE Office.
 

KEAM 2021: Preparation of Rank list 

The total marks in Paper I & II of KEAM exam and the total marks of Maths, Physics and Chemistry in the qualifying exam (total in the second year) will be counted at 50:50 ratio. 
 
If the student has not studied Chemistry, his score in Computer Science will be taken. In the case of students not studying Computer Science, Bio-Technology score will be added. The marks in Biology students will be considered for the students not studying Chemistry, Computer Science and Bio-Technology. 
 
The preparation of final rank list will be after a standardization process. It is to be remembered that, the students who satisfy the expected criteria with their entrance exam score only will find a place in the rank list.

Post Matric Fresh/Renewal Scholarship (PMS) for students belonging to Minority communities

Online applications are invited for the Post-Matric Fresh/Renewal Scholarship (PMS) for the academic year 2021-22 from students belonging to minority communities (Muslim, Christian, Buddhists, Sikh and Parsee) to be awarded by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India.

PMS Scholarship 2021: How to Apply

The Post Matric Scholarship Scheme is an online Scheme. Applications are to be submitted online in the Portal of the Ministry of Minority Affairs. There are two types of Registration, Fresh Application and Renewal Application. Student Applying for the first time in the portal should compulsory register as fresh Students. Those Students who got scholarship last year through National Scholarship Portal and the same course is continuing for another year will be considered as renewal.

PMS Scholarship 2021: Eligibility

Post Matric Scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination and the annual income of whose parents does not exceed Rs.2 lakh. Students from BPL families, having the lowest income shall be given preference in the ascending order. The documents needed to be uploaded on Portal while applying for scholarship are:-
