The Kite Victors Channel online classes for the first year Higher Secondary students conducted for the past one year has been completed. Due to the prevailing Covid 19 pandemic situation, the way of learning and exam pattern have also undergone certain changes. Due to the absence of proper regular classes in this situation, it would be a tough thing for the Plus one students to go through the text completely for their exam preparation.

The Focus area(Official) for the first year(+1) Higher Secondary students conjointly prepared by the SCERT and the Department of General Education has been officially published. It particularly aims at specific areas in the syllabus which need to be paid more attention to. Similar pattern was adopted for the examination of the second year students of the Higher Secondary course too.

Update: The Higher secondary +2 Practical examinations are scheduled to begin on June 21.
Due to the prevalence of alarming pandemic covid-19 it is not possible for functioning of regular classes in this academic year(2020-21). The study materials are transacted by teachers through digital media and online classes. Hence the completion of necessary activities in connection with the Higher Secondary Practical Examination is found to be quite impossible. 

Under this circumstance, the guidelines and mandatory things to be done for the +2 Practical Examination by strictly following the covid protocol norms have been published by the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education and SCERT. The practical exam has been scheduled to be conducted this year, after the theory exam only.

School Transfer for Higher Secondary Second Year Students

Students who are willing to continue second year of their Higher secondary course after completing first year in one school, should submit an application for second year school transfer. 

The Principal of the Higher secondary school has the right to consider applications of school transfer of Higher secondary first year completed Govt/Aided/Unaided students studied in state syllabus and admit in the second year provided there are vacancies. School transfer application for second year be completed in 30 days after school reopening. Mutual school transfer is permissible for govt /aided/Unaided school students. 

Students who completed first year in Open School scheme also can avail this opportunity for second year admission in regular Higher secondary school. While considering the application of open school students, priority should be given to the regular students. Where as the Regional Deputy Director of Higher Secondary education concerned is responsible for issuing the order.

Director of Higher secondary education has the right to admit students promoted to second year and studied in Other States or Countries or in CBSE scheme. Such students must appear for all subjects in the first year improvement exam conducted by DHSE.

Update: Applications Invited for admission to Engineering, Architecture, Medical, Medical Allied and B.Pharm Courses. Last date to apply: June 21, 2021.

Applications are invited for admission to Engineering, Architecture/Pharmacy/Medical related courses in various professional colleges in the state. Students can apply for different engineering courses in Kerala Agriculture University, Kerala Veterinary and Animal Science University, Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies and B.arch apart from MBBS, BDS, BHMS (Unani), B.Pharm, B.Sc(Hon’s) and Agriculture courses.

KEAM 2021-Online Application

The eligible candidates willing to apply for above said courses should apply online from 01.06.2021 to 21.06.2021 through www.cee.kerala.gov.in, the website of the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations. No hard copies of the application or documents need to be sent to the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations.

KEAM 2021-Time Schedule

The state Entrance Exam of 2021(KEAM 2021) will be held in various centres on 24th of July 2021.

KEAM 2021 Exam Pattern

The entrance examination is conducted by the State Entrance Exam for admission to engineering courses only. For B.Pharm admission, the students must appear for Paper 1 (Physics and Chemistry) of Engineering Entrance Exam and qualify it. There is no separate entrance exam for admission to B.Arch courses and Medical/other related courses. It is mandatory for the students to appear for National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted at the national level by Council of Architecture (COA) and should become eligible before 01.08.2021. The scores obtained in NATA and the qualifying exam would be equally considered for the preparation of the rank list.  The students willing to get admission to courses related to Medicine, should get through the National eligibility cum entrance test (NEET – UG) 2021 conducted at the national level.

KEAM 2021 Application Fee

There is no fee for ST category. Application fee can be remitted either online or in all head/sub post offices in Kerala by using e-chalan which would be made available at the time of submission of application. Fee can also be paid by using e-chalan in the selected brances of SBT. Candidates of Dubai exam centre have to pay Rs.12,000/- more by online or e-chalan apart from application fee.

National Council for Hotel Management invites online applications from 3rd February 2021 from Hotel Management aspirants for its online NCHM JEE 2021 for admission to 3 years Bachelors of Science Programme in Hospitality and Hotel Administration(B.Sc in HHA). It is jointly offered by the National Council for Hotel Management and Indira Gandhi National Open University.

Course Details

This course gives knowledge on food production, Food and Beverage Service, Front office operation, House Keeping, Hotel Accounting, Food safety and Quality, Human Resource Management, Strategic Management, Tourism Marketing and Tourism Management and thus opens up avenues for employment not only in Hotels and Restaurants, also in other sectors like Shipping, Hospital and Institutional Catering which require Customer Relations. On – Campus and Off Campus recruitment process is the major highlight of the course.

Eligibility

The applicants willing to do the course, should have passed Plus Two or equivalent course with English as one of their subjects. Students appearing for Plus Two or equivalent exam are also eligible to apply for NCHM JEE 2021 whereas it would be cancelled if they fail to submit necessary documents of proof at the time of counselling or admission.

NCHM JEE 2021 Syllabus

NCHM JEE will be conducted in 12th June 2021. Exam will be held in Computer Based Test(CBT) mode. The test focuses on Numerical ability, Analytical aptitude, Reasoning, Logical Deduction, General Knowledge, Current Affairs, English Language, Aptitude for service sector etc of the students. It is of 3 hour duration. It will be conducted in all major cities in India.
