Career Guidance Souhrida Club of GHSS Ramapuram Keerikkad has conducted a one day class for students on Health & Life. Principal Shri.Babu k conveyed welcome speech for the one day class. Dr.Boban who is the chief medical officer of GOV. HOMEOPATHY DISPENSARY and Dr.Deepa conducted the class. There was two sessions on the first session Dr.Boban speak about new health problems and measures for good health. Inter-school Competitions @ Mayyanad HSS
We are happy to intimate you that Mayyanad HSS is conducting Inter school Competitions in Elocution (Malayalam), Quiz and Oil Painting in memory of Prof. P K G Purushothaman. The competitions will be conducted on the 1st February 2013, at school auditorium.
The participants are requested to send their applications on or before 30/01/2013. A format of the application form is appended herewith. (Applications can be sent to our e-mail address too). The time schedule of the competitions are given below.
ALL KERALA INTER-SCHOOL QUIZ - 2013
The Third Edition of the St. Mary’s Sapthathi Memorial Quiz will be held on the 19th of January 2013 in St. Mary’s Higher Secondary School, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram. The contest is open for students of classes VIII to XII belonging to the Kerala State Syllabus. Each school can send a team comprising of two students.
The winners will bag a cash award of Rs. 7000/- and the St. Mary’s Sapthathi Ever Rolling Trophy
First Runners up : Rs 5000/- & Ever Rolling Trophy
Second Runners up: Rs 3000/- & Ever Rolling Trophy
The fourth, fifth and sixth places will carry a consolation prize of Rs. 500/- each.
The top six teams from the Preliminary Round will be qualified for the Final.

SOUHRIDA CLUB:OLD AGE HOME VISITING
As an activity of Souhrida club, G.H.S.S Mupliyam, on 20/10/2012 we conducted a trip to an old age home in our nearby hamlet ie. St. Raphols Bhavan chengaloor. Our crew comprised of Souhrida Club convenor Mrs. Rajini,, Mr.Lal M.C (H.S.S.T Commerce), Sindhu P.(H.S.S.T English), School Conveners, Sreejith T.R and Uthara K. with the Class Conveners and other student performers. The students took their homemade snacks and fruits and served the same there. They enacted various entertainment items like Nadanpattu, Nadodinrutham, Daf, Group dance and many other items. It was a trip which enlightened the mind of students and instilled into them the thought that life is inconsistent and human relations should be respected.
