Higher Secondary Exam Results March 2018

Higher Secondary Examination of March 2018 is over. Now the students would be inquisitively waiting for the outcome of their strenuous work.

The centralized valuation of answer scripts of Higher Secondary board exam March 2018 begins from 5th April 2018 in various centres. There would be double valuation for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of Plus two students. The valuation would be based on the final answer key published by the DHSE.

Higher Secondary Results March 2018

As the Plus Two students are to go for higher studies, answer scripts of second year students would be evaluated first. It would be followed by the valuation of first year answer scripts.

When will the results be published ?

It is expected that the valuation will be over and the results of Second year(Plus Two) be published by the first week of May 2018. The link would be made available as and when the results are published.

The results of the first year(Plus One) students are likely to be published by the end of May.

Second year SAY / Improvement Exam, June 2018

The regular students who are not able to get through the Second year exam can apply for the subjects they have failed, for the SAY exam to be held in June 2018. The scores in SAY exam mark list would be a conjoined one.

The regular students (1st time exam appearing) who have successfully completed the Higher Secondary course can apply for the Improvement exam to upgrade their score in any one of their subjects. The certificate with combined scores obtained in the March 2018 exam and Improvement exam will not be issued.

Higher Secondary First year Improvement Exam June/July 2018

The improvement exam for the first year(Plus One) students will be held in June/July 2018. The students can write their exam to improve their scores in any three subjects. Those who couldn’t appear for the first year exam of March 2018 also can apply for all subjects. More details are given in the exam notification.

The benefit is that there would be clear cut filtering of students who are outstanding,those who are excellent,those who are good,or average and those below...Personally,these exams werent too much difficult.Its doesnt even require a higher order level thinking.Exams of this level are required so that the students of kerala board can actually compete in national level exams and acquire top ranks rather than the CBSE students outshining them .
